Scott LanChief Executive Officer

Scott’s career spans nearly 20 years across K-12, higher education, and workforce development. Most recently, he served as Chief Program Officer at a large workforce development agency in San Francisco, leading all programs and helping over 2600 youth and adults build in-demand skills and land great jobs. Prior to serving as CPO, he was Managing Director at Braven, a national education nonprofit that ensures first-generation, low-income students have access to the skills, experiences, and networks necessary to succeed in college and land strong first jobs after graduation. Scott was also the Founder and Executive Director of Achieving Results by Overcoming Obstacles, a nonprofit that inspires and challenges at-risk youth to reach their full potential and achieve their most ambitious goals through the sport of Obstacle Course Racing (e.g., Spartan Race, Tough Mudder). Prior to founding AROO, Scott was a Broad Resident and served as the Director of Business Strategy at the largest charter management organization in Los Angeles. Before attending business school, he was a human capital consultant first at TNTP and later with Partners in School Innovation, where he focused on talent & performance management and school & district transformation. His career began as a classroom teacher through Teach For America, where he taught 6th grade math and science in South Los Angeles. In his free time, Scott enjoys exploring the outdoors, hiking, reading, spending time with his niece and nephews, and trying all the new foodie spots around San Francisco. Scott holds a BA in Business Economics from UC Santa Barbara, an MA in Education from Loyola Marymount University, and an MBA from the University of Southern California (Fight On!).

Yulanda KwongChief Program Officer

Yulanda–MSW, came to Cameron House as a volunteer in 1996 and then became a staff member in the Youth Department in 1998. Born and raised in San Francisco, Ms. Kwong has been working with children, youth, and families in the San Francisco’s Chinatown for over 20 years now. She has volunteered and worked with low-income Asian immigrants and native-born children and youth and their families in other community-based organizations in SF’s Chinatown, agencies such as Asian Women’s Resource Center, the Chinatown YWCA, APA Family Support Services, and NICOS’ Chinese Health Coalition. Ms. Kwong received her Bachelor’s Degree in Asian American Studies from the University of California at Berkeley and her Master’s Degree from UC Berkeley’s School of Social Welfare with a specialization in Management and Planning. She was the Director of Social Services Ministry starting in 2003. In her leisure time, she enjoys exercising and writing a few raps.

Bill VignaChief Financial and Operations Officer

William Vigna Jr. (Bill) has worked with San Francisco non-profits for over 20 years. Bill was the Director of Finance/Human Resources for Maitri Compassionate Care, a resident facility for people with chronic AIDS. Before his tenure at Maitri, he worked with the Administrative Office of the Courts implementation SAP throughout California. Bill has an active client base which seeks his expertise with financial strategic planning and compliance. He has also served as board treasurer for Monterey County Ombudsman, SF Prideworks and San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus.
Bill holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration along with a Master’s in Business Administration. Bill completed the Certified Nonprofit Accounting Professional Certification in December 2021.
